Leveraging the Body’s Intrinsic Healing Powers

Whole-Woman Wellness, On Your Terms

Coming Summer 2025

Experience advanced, FDA-registered regenerative therapies—like Wharton’s Jelly and exosomes—designed to reduce inflammation, support joint health, and enhance mobility by leveraging your body’s own ability to repair and rejuvenate.

What is Wharton’s Jelly?

Wharton’s Jelly surrounds the blood vessels in the umbilical cord. During a full-term, post–C-section birth, this tissue can be donated, processed, and purified to create an allograft that retains naturally occurring growth factors, exosomes, collagen, and other regenerative components. Because of its composition, Wharton’s Jelly may help cushion and support the tissue where it’s applied.

It’s also “immunologically privileged,” meaning it typically does not trigger a strong immune response in recipients. This quality makes it an attractive option for individuals seeking additional tissue support in regions that may benefit from lubrication or general relief of discomfort.

The goal of Wharton’s Jelly therapy is to support a reduction in joint pain and inflammation and improved physical mobility.

Wharton's Jelly: Homologous Use & FDA Registration

PracticeRx uses Wharton’s Jelly allografts strictly for homologous function—replicating the protective, lubricating, and cushioning role that it naturally provides.

Our supplier is FDA-registered and follows rigorous donor screening, including behavioral assessments, medical history reviews, and comprehensive testing in CLIA-certified labs.

The donation process draws from full-term deliveries, ensuring the tissue is sourced ethically and responsibly. This meticulous approach adheres to strict quality assurance, from donor screening all the way through processing and storage, minimizing risks and ensuring a consistent product.

The Regenerative Medicine: Consultation Session

A typical session begins with a patient consultation, where we evaluate whether Wharton’s Jelly is appropriate for your goals (e.g., seeking additional lubrication in a joint) and may order imaging (x-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound) to confirm the injury location and severity and whether Wharton’s Jelly may benefit you.

Once the plan and goals are agreed upon, the allograft is introduced into the targeted area using ultrasound guidance for precise targeting of the cells in the desired location.

The injection/procedure is relatively brief, and many people resume normal daily activities soon after, though we may advise moderation of strenuous exercise for a short period. Effects can unfold gradually or rapidly, with some individuals noticing changes in comfort over the first week or two, but the longer-term benefits come over the next 6-8 weeks.

To enhance repair, we often pair regenerative approaches with other lifestyle elements, like tailored exercises, nutritional support, or rest—to support overall wellness.

Once the plan and goals are agreed upon, the allograft is introduced into the targeted area using ultrasound guidance for precise targeting of the cells in the desired location.

Most patients seek this treatment for joint areas that feel stiff or irritated, wishing to maintain or improve daily comfort and mobility.  Our practice focuses on describing the general advantages of Wharton’s Jelly in terms of cushioning, lubrication, and protection.

Treatment & Theraputice Benefits for Stiff and Iratated Joints

Because the tissue naturally contains growth factors and exosomes, it may help modulate discomfort and promote an environment conducive to tissue well-being. While many people report benefits like improved ease of movement and reduced local discomfort, it’s crucial to note that these products are not intended to diagnose or treat any specific disease. Rather, they complement your body’s innate protective and supportive mechanisms.

It’s important to note, Practice RX does not claim to treat or cure specific conditions such as arthritis or chronic illnesses. Instead, patients often notice greater comfort in everyday tasks or physical activities that previously felt burdened by stiffness or irritation.
