Telehealth in New York
Adult ADHD and Psychiatry Care by Telehealth in New York
New York City has plenty of psychiatrists, but many are out of network, expensive, or not taking new patients. Upstate, the problem is distance. PracticeRx sees adults anywhere in New York by secure video, with evaluation, medication management, and follow-up from a clinician licensed in the state.
Patients join from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Westchester, Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, Syracuse, and the North Country.
Led by Clay Hall, NP, PhD, MBA, adult ADHD specialist licensed in New York.
How telehealth visits work
Care from anywhere in New York.
1
Book and share your history
You complete intake paperwork online before we meet, so the first conversation can focus on your history and your goals.
2
Meet by secure video
Your visit happens on a private video link from anywhere in New York. Same clinical standard as in person, no travel and no waiting room.
3
Get a plan and ongoing follow-up
If treatment is appropriate, prescriptions go to the New York pharmacy of your choice, and follow-up continues by video.
What it costs
Transparent, up front.
- PracticeRx accepts most major commercial insurance plans for eligible psychiatric services, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, UMR, Optum, Anthem, Oxford Health Plans, and Carelon. Coverage and network participation vary by plan, and we verify your benefits before your first appointment.
- With insurance, most patients pay $0–$40 per appointment
- Self-pay is available, and we confirm your exact cost before your first visit
- We are not currently in-network with Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, or AHCCCS.
- No membership required to be seen — the membership is for people who want ongoing concierge-level access
Your first visit
What actually happens.
- A full clinical interview covering childhood through today, not a rushed checklist
- Standardized ADHD rating scales and screening for anxiety, depression, sleep, and thyroid or hormonal contributors
- A clear answer about whether this is ADHD, something else, or both — and the plan either way
- Time to talk through medication options, side effects, and what follow-up will look like
